The machines of the B72xx series can be equipped with sliding slides or a rotary indexing table, as well as with the necessary number of riveting heads to meet typical cycle time requirements from the automotive industry. They are available in widths of 700 mm (B7207) and 1,000 mm (B7210). Depending on the customer's requirements, there is a choice between the heating stamp technology BHS HOT STAMP® or the BHS HOT AIR®.
By changing the machine programme and the component fixture, and if necessary the product-specific tools, different products can be machined on the machine. Thus, it stands out for the highest flexibility.
The B7712 BHS HOT AIR® machine is designed as a modular platform and meets all the requirements of the automotive (electronics) industry for process reliability, shortest possible cycle time and flexibility. Due to the separate heating and forming process steps and the fast transport system, the cycle time can be reduced to a minimum and is only dependent on the heating process or the loading and unloading time by the operator. The joined component is quickly and safely placed on the magnetic belt by a lifting unit and automatically ejected again for unloading. The machine can be integrated into a lean production process.
A lower-priced alternative are the machines of the B7500 family for manual loading and unloading of large components, to which the BHS HOT AIR® and BHS HOT STAMP® technologies can be applied. Here, the heating and forming process steps run sequentially, so that the total machine cycle is longer than with the B7712 machine.
